We express great happiness at some of the reports we have received from recently completed investigative stories. Although we expressed regrets in time past, we are glad the project is on course.
We are also pleased to make public that another participant’s story has won a grant award bringing the total number of grantees to 8.
The new grantee is Simon Echewofun Sunday of Daily Trust Newspaper, Abuja.
All grantees are to note that;
1. Grants collected will be retired appropriately in line with project requirements
2. The stories are to be reported FOR and ON grantee’s media platform
3. Any production, story or report should credit Ford Foundation and ICIR. It is suggested that that participants state: ”This project was supported by Ford Foundation and International Center for Investigative Reporting (ICIR)”
